Womack Farms is a family owned cattle operation located in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas. We produce SimAngus seedstock cattle and commercial cattle totaling 750 females. We also run a stocker operation feeding 2,500 head annually and currently farm over 3,500 acres of land.
Womack Farms started using SimAngus bulls on their commercial herd in 2010, increasing their weaning weights an average of 150 lbs. These results were the start for us producing top quality SimAngus bulls. With a goal of only producing bulls in the top 10% of the SimAngus breed, we purchased only top producing SimAngus bulls and females and started the SimAngus seedstock operation in 2011. We produce SimAngus females that tops the breed with a focus that combines weaning weight, yearling weight, maternal, and milk. All females are currently being retained to help build the herd. We also produce top SimAngus bulls with weaning weights in the top 1% of the breed. All bulls must wean 700+ lbs. We realize the importance of growth, performance, milk, and calving ease.
